We regularly act as solicitors for the executor/administrator of estates. We advise on and assist in administration of the estate, identifying ownership of estate and non-estate assets and liabilities, and in preparing the documents necessary to obtain an Estate Grant.  We can also assist the executor in selling or transferring estate assets, including real property, as required by the Will, and in making distributions to the beneficiaries under the Will.

We also frequently advise beneficiaries of their rights and remedies under the Will, where an executor has not acted promptly or properly, and we can take the necessary steps to ensure your inheritance is protected and paid to you when required by law.
